We are looking for an employee for the newly formed area of Industrial Cooperation within BU Gripen. This area is responsible for the management, leadership, and execution of commitments regarding industrial cooperation included in Gripen export contracts. Our commitments vary in nature; some are based on local manufacturing, development, and support related to the delivery and maintenance of the Gripen system, while others may be in completely different areas. Other areas we currently work with include sustainable energy development and general technology development.

Your Role

You will be responsible for project managing one or more assignments within the business area. As a project manager, you will be involved from planning, costing, and presenting the project to the customer, through to execution and completion of these commitments. You will manage interfaces both internally across all parts of Saab, as well as with external parties such as authorities, universities, and various companies.

We are currently primarily active in Brazil, Thailand, and Colombia. Future Gripen business may include work in, among other places, Canada and Peru.

The role involves travel and, during certain periods, longer stays outside of Sweden.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a broad interest in industrial and business issues. Fluent language skills in English, preferably in multiple languages, along with curiosity and interest in other cultures, create good conditions for success and development in the role. You likely hold an academic degree in engineering and/or economics. We value experience in project management.

Experience in industrial operations, particularly with other cultures, is advantageous. The area is under construction and currently consists of a group of 8 people, including consultants.
